CrossLife Church Give Team Duties

Thank you for serving the Lord!

Setup/Tear Down

Setup:

  • Set up 5 feather flags (4 along the road and one kids flag at the fellowship building)

  • Set up the A-frame sign out under the breezeway at the kids check-in door

    • Flags and this A-frame sign are stored in the fellowship hall closet

  • Set up the A-frame sign out in front of the sanctuary

    • This A-frame sign is stored in Pastor Thomas' office

  • Flags and A-frame signs need to be in place no later than 8:45am

  • Do not set up the flags or the A-frame sign outside the sanctuary if it is raining (it is okay to put the A-frame sign under the breezeway at the kids check-in door)

  • Set up 2 stage banners on platform (“You are a piece to of the puzzle”)

  • Make sure welcome table is set appropriately in the foyer

  • Take down Hispanic church banner, roll up, place it beside the rolling cart (stage right)

  • 2 offering plates on the communion table

Tear Down:

  • Take down the A-frame sign from under the breezeway at the kids check-in door

    • The above items are stored in the fellowship hall closet

  • Take down the A-frame sign from in front of the sanctuary

    • Store it in Pastor Thomas' office

  • Take down the 2 stage banners from the platform

    • Store them in the fellowship hall closet

  • Take down the welcome table in the foyer, placing CrossLife items in the left-hand drawer of the table

  • Set up the table for the Hispanic church using the items in the right-hand drawer

  • Set up Hispanic banner at the stage using the hooks on the wall

Provide Breakfast:

  • Be in place and have breakfast ready to serve by 9:00am

  • What you serve is up to you! Full breakfast or continental or anything in between

  • Children prefer apple juice; adults prefer orange juice

  • Whole or 2% milk is also good; one half-gallon should be enough

  • Begin cleanup no later than 9:45am (Taylor usually helps!)

    • Store leftover juice in refrigerator

    • Take leftover milk home with you (tends to go bad in church fridge)

Sunday Breakfast Prep

  • Be available a few minutes before 9:00am

  • Make coffee

  • Put out plates, napkins, cups, etc.

  • Assist person providing breakfast as needed

Greeters

  • Be in place by 9:30am

  • Wear your name tag

    • Located in the small blue bucket on top of the small fridge in the tech room

  • If it's warm enough, feel free to greet from the cement pad outside

  • Greet every person who comes through the door (church members and visitors!)

  • Ask first-time visitor(s) to complete a connection card (on the small clipboards) (one per family)

  • Tell first-time visitor(s) to make themselves at home and to let you know if they have any questions

  • Collect the completed connection card either...

    • Right before the service starts, if time permits, or

    • Right after the service

  • Give the first-time visitor(s) their gift

    • After you have collected their connection card

  • Give completed connection card to the connection card contact for that week or Pastor Thomas

  • Return name tag to the small blue bucket on top of the small fridge in the tech room

Parking Team

  • On Sunday mornings, we are good with parking right now

  • You will be notified if you are needed for an event

Connection Card Contact

  • Take a picture of the connection card so you will have the visitor(s) information

  • Give the original connection card to Pastor Thomas or place it on his desk

  • Sunday or Monday of the week text or call the visitor(s); Pastor Thomas will reach out too
